Dr. C. N. Ramchand is the President and CEO of Saksin Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai and MagGenome Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Cochin.  With a career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Ramchand has established himself as a prominent figure in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industries. He holds advisory roles in several renowned companies, including Scigenom Labs, Medgenome Inc., Theragen Life Sciences, and Theragen Biologics, contributing his expertise and guidance to their success.  Dr. Ramchand’s impressive journey includes leadership positions at KEMIN Pharma, where he also served as Director of Research and Development, and at Sun Pharmaceuticals, where he played a pivotal role in setting up a cutting-edge Drug Discovery center. He is an Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Newcastle, UK, and an adjunct faculty member at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.  With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from MS University Baroda and an extensive background in basic research, Dr. Ramchand has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers, edited multiple books, and holds numerous patents. Dr. Ramchand’s expertise extends to the development of Ph.D. programs in collaboration with Swinburne University and IIT Chennai through Scigenom Labs, cementing his commitment to advancing scientific knowledge in India.
